Minimum Admission Requirements
- Take the Health Occupations Aptitude Examination (exam fee included in application fee)
- Submit four letters of recommendation (reference forms included in application packet).
- Self-Evaluation (form included in application packet)
- Radiology Career Essay
- Official transcripts of all prior education.
A minimum of an associates degree will be required for the 2013 admission. A new ARRT regulation states that candidates applying for certification beginning January 1, 2015, must have earned an associates, baccalaureate, or graduate degree from an institution accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the ARRT. Thus, the degrees must be earned from a U.S. regionally accredited college.
Admission Procedures
- Submit application and official transcripts
- Submit a $50 non-refundable application fee made out to Huntsville Hospital.
- Submit official high school and college transcripts
- The program will contact applicants to schedule the PSB Health Occupations aptitude exam. The cost of the exam is included in the application fee.
- Have official high school and college transcripts send directly to the school by the issuing institution
- Upon receipt of the aptitude test results, program officials will review test scores, official transcripts and completed application.
- Once the applicant has progressed through the academic evaluation, a radiology observation and personal interview will be scheduled with the selections committee.
- Applicants are scored and selected base on the academic evaluation, entrance exam score, observation evaluation, personal references, interview assessment and career essay.
- Final acceptance is contingent upon drug screen, physical examination, and criminal background check conducted by Huntsville Hospital.

Transfer Student Policy
The program does not accept transfer students from other radiography programs.
Advanced Placement Policy
The program does not accept applicants seeking advanced placement.
