Every time CCT-1 is dispatched, a patient’s life hangs in the balance. When transferring critically ill patients requiring a higher level of care between facilities, time and expertise are of the essence. CCT-1 meets this need by transporting patients with a variety of medical conditions from referring hospitals to Huntsville Hospital.

The new unit is equipped with the most technologically advanced life saving equipment, some of which was provided by Huntsville Hospital Foundation. The crew members of CCT-1 are among the best trained and most experienced nurses, respiratory therapists and paramedics in the industry.
